When I was in seventh grade, I created a short five page comic book called Xordex: The Master Wizard. At the time, I was very into fantasy and was reading a lot of Piers Anthony and a little Tolkien. As a result I tried to make my own comic book based on fantasy about a wizard, but didn't give much thought to the detail of plot and so on. I particularly like the very Lego inspired man whom Xordex kills. Also notable are the wookie looking wizard, accompanying Xordex and the dwarf looking guy; as well as Xordex's compacted head (in the Lego man picture). Then there is the lack of color (due to waning interest at the time) and originality to the names, particularly the place names like the country of Britania and Saxland. Furthermore there is the lack of background, or why The Britanians and Saxleys are fighting, or any description about their way or basis of life.
So, why am I posting this you may want to know. Well, basically it comes to the fact that I was rummaging through some of my old stuff, and happened on this story. My loving and deeply compassionate friend saw it, and ripped on it a great deal. This embarrassed me, and he asked me to post it, basically so I could be further humiliated. I do think it has some parts that are not terrible, and the illustration is pretty good for me for that age. I eventually learned to laugh at this too, although I am still unsure of its reception on the information super highway, but hope that shoddiness gives you some amusement.
