So this is really my first attempt at writing lyrics.
What makes this lyrical as opposed to poetic, I don't rightly now, just this feels more like a song, and I hope someday to
perhaps write music to accompany my lyrics, this is just supposed to sort of be an inspiration for me to do this. I am deeply
inspired by a few bands, particularly The Verve, one of my very favorite. Of course there are more coming later, but not
for a while, enjoy!
Ode to the Journey
I wander the lonely road
That they call life
To my journey I write this ode
Through the toil and strife

Life is easy and life is hard
Its what of it you make
Life is a vast blessing
Full of ups and downs
It always keeps you guessing
As you go round and round

It is the best and worst
Of places to be
Sometimes it makes you curse
Sometimes you shout with glee
