Today was a little productive, but of course no where near the productivity I had wanted it to be. I woke up a bit earlier than I would have liked, but it was for a special reason, and that is trying to finally do something about my lack of visas to the countries I wanted to go to. So I got myself on the Hammersmith line and off at Great Portland Street station and walked down past the lovely Chinese and Polish embassies and straight into the door of the Kenyan High Commission. I delivered my visa for tourist entry into the country along with the low low price of only £30.00. After this, I proceeded to walk my way to Regent’s Park station and found myself shortly thereafter in the very lovely and quite nice office and embassy of Tanzania, but without my good ol’ American passport. So, I picked up a visa application, and made my merry way back to the flat. After I returned, I basically messed about on the internet with the clear intention of doing loads of work, but sadly this did not really occur at all.
Instead of doing much work, I basically just looked up obscure things, though I remember not what, and did not even write any of the countless letters or anything I wish I had. One thing I did do a bit of is, emailing, and as I am a rather poor correspondent in that fashion, I suppose that was a good thing, but otherwise, I only picked up some groceries that would last me a couple of days and that is about the gist of it. Thus was it for this day, not much but worth mentioning... as no day is worth forgetting or at least should not be.
