Another day of school and not much else, except for some additional frustration. To begin, I went to my architecture class, but I do not really recall what we did there, save to say we talked about Chicago a good deal and the rise of modernism (I think that’s the same class anyway). After that, I went straight away back to the Zambian embassy and picked up an application sheet to go there. When I saw this cursed sheet however, I found out it was going to be extremely complicated to get the actual visa, with a charge of £50.00, a most ridiculous amount. Additionally, you needed proof of your letter of application and proof of sufficient funds for your stay. Then, fortunately I found something a bit redeeming saying that this did not apply to bonafide tourists, but they must get their visas at the port of entry, which means I went out of my for naught. Well, after this, I got some KFC and then went to the Natural History Museum to meet my class there. I discovered that they were actually the next museum over, about ten minutes later than I would like to admit, but I got there. After a brief exploration of the Museum of technical or human science (versus the natural one I had been in), I found myself soon going home and having a rather uneventful evening (or at least one I can’t remember now too well).
