Well I made it to Rome, and am happy to report I am alive and in one piece and even have a bed with blanket and all! Anyway, I figure I will update the rest of my entries that I have been omitting next week. So there is not too much to say about today, but I will attempt it anyway. To begin, I woke up, got ready, and fucked around on the internet... then I had to leave, I made it to Liverpool Street station but late, because naturally the Hammersmith line was fucking up, as it always does. But I made it and boarded the express train, which I figured I could use ticket-less travel to do, but I figured wrong, because the dude came around to collect my ticket and when I told him I had none he was indignant, and asked why I did not have one. I told him I did not know about it and he looked incredulous but said nothing and just moved on. So, I finally made it to the airport, and the line to go to Rome was long, but I waited it out, and got through and sat to board, the wait to board was also long, not a surprise there... the flight was neat, and I slept through most of it. Then we got to Rome, I got some Euros and a ticket to board a bus to get to the hostel. The line to board the train was obnoxious and long, and filled with a lot of British and Germans. Anyway, we finally boarded and I chatted with a friendly Hungarian kid, who was studying communication in Rome. He was a nice chap, but I lost his name. We finally arrived at Termini, the main hub of Rome, and I walked off to my hostel, but missed my turn so walked a long way in the wrong direction after being already tired. But I finally got turned around and met some very nice and enthusiastic people in the hostel, well, they were festive or happy beings anyway (not gay, just lively). And, now I am writing this from the computer at the front desk wondering what tomorrow has in store, but I shall see... man this Italian keyboard is strange! Anyway, that is where I am at, and I will likely be updating the rest of what happened last week when I return to London.
