So, today, I woke up kind of late (11:00) and after doing so lounged around for a bit, the girls went out and had some errands to run so I sat around waiting for the guy to come by and repair the internet. He never came while I waited, but after they returned, I resolved to go to Baker Street finally and visit the Sherlock Holmes Museum, the only line that runs at Ladbrook Grove station (the station nearest my flat) runs to Baker St, so I took the Hammersmith and City line there, and when I walked out, I walked along Marlybone Road for a little while until I realised I was not on Baker St. Afterward, I turned about and went to the museum... initially I went inside the gift shop, bought my ticket for £6.00 and proceeded to go up to the museum. The museum was fucking awesome and I say that with no hyperbole. Even though the actual address Holmes lived at did not exist, it was really cool, because it was exactly how everything should be. I took tons of pictures, and hopefully will have those up soon. In the rooms they had all the artifacts just where they should be, and also seemed to have all the little items that you could think of. Going up the stairs they had things like all the stories put up in almost a wax figure sort of manner. I took a picture of all the scenes because I thought it was pretty cool, and it was just fun to see everything happening right there in London. Anyway, I went back down to the gift shop and was in love with so many things there, I actually bought a street sign that says Baker Street, and they had real high quality English bowlers and top hats, so I think I may go back soon, and get a post card for Lyssa with Jeremy Brett as well as a top hat, the only thing that sucks about that is, they are £45.00 pretty pricey, but I may get it later in the year, or maybe I can find something nicer on Portobello Road this Saturday.

I then decided after leaving there with my sign, to go to Madame Tousauds which was just round the corner. Tickets though, were £14.00 per adult, and it closed in like an hour and a half, so I thought I would return some other day, maybe Thursday and do that, then maybe go to Whitechapel, but we’ll see. After I returned home from the Baker Street station, I went back to my place... a brief word about the Baker Street station, it is probably the coolest and certainly the most Victorian station I have seen in London so far, I was very impressed with the Circle and Hammersmith lines, and when I go back through (as I have to go through it to get to school) I will certainly get out and take a picture sometime soon. I would be thrilled to do that. After I got back home, I went out and got a library membership at the library down the street from me which is the library of the royal borough of Kensington. Pretty cool, to be sure, the card has the little coat of arms on it, and everything. After that, I got back and the internet guy showed up, and he fixed my computer, I was so very happy about that, I can’t even say... I updated my Live Journal, and downloaded my pictures. Later in the night Seamus and I went to the Elgin and had a pint of Strong Bow, that beer is actually growing on me, it tastes like cider. We had a good conversation about New Orleans, Bush, and so forth and I walked away feeling very good about having him as my flatmate. After we returned the girls returned from a night out, and we all sat around typing on our computers... I watched an episode of Space Ghost, typed my journal entry and in theory (not there yet) will have gone to bed.
